What You'll Do on the Overnight Trip
You'll paddle calm water through the Black Canyon Water Trail at an easy pace, with plenty of breaks, past towering canyon walls, historic sites and hidden coves. Along the way you can hike short slot canyons, swim in quiet coves, and soak in natural hot springs a short walk from the shoreline.
The canyon is a protected corridor, home to desert bighorn sheep, bald eagles, ospreys and herons, and mornings and evenings offer the best chances to see them. Evenings are spent on a remote river beach cooking camp meals over a campfire and stove while your guides handle the logistics.
Cell service in the Black Canyon is limited to nonexistent, so plan to be off-grid for the trip.
What to Bring Camping
