Who We Are
Founded in 2004 by Robert Finlay, Kayak Lake Mead is the longest running kayak tour outfitter of the Lake Mead National Recreation Area. Now in the caring hands of Ian Blair, our company is dedicated to providing you with unforgettable kayak adventures on the beautiful waters of Lake Mead, the Colorado River, and beyond.
What We Do
Our range of tours and services cater to all, from beginners to seasoned paddlers. Join us on our popular Emerald Cave Tour, where you'll paddle through stunning emerald-colored waters and explore the hidden gem of the Black Canyon on the Colorado River. Or, choose from our other guided trips, including the Cranes Nest Tour, South Bound Paddle, and more.
When We Do It
Our Kayak Tours are available daily.
The Emerald Cave kayak tour starts at 8AM and 1PM and lasts anywhere between 3 to 4 hours. Strategically chosen to avoid kayak rush hour traffic.
Where We Do It
All our services take place at or near Willow Beach, AZ. You will find us and our kayak equipment at "KAYAK BEACH" the paddle craft launch area. The Emerald Cave, located in the Black Canyon on this stretch of the Colorado River is the most popular destination for this area as it is only roughly 2 miles up river from the starting point.
